I sent away for some business cards, specifically to take to Hanbury, but I ordered 100 so I suppose I just have them to use for any situation now. Im not sure how useful they'll prove to be seeing as most communication is done through email/instagram/website but they're good to attach to things I might post to someone who I want to work with such as prints or little zines.
I had a little trouble deciding what to print on the front because my work isn't really graphic or bold, it's more textured and typically involves quite dense images. This meant that it was hard to distill it into something that would work small on a business card format. I got sick of thinking about it in the end so I just picked the image below because I thought it was one of the more ambiguous images I had which demonstrated every aspect of how I work. I also thought the fact that the image depicts a meeting type scenario was kind of appropriate in a nice a way but that was more of an after thought really. It actually printed really nicely on the cards and it doesn't really look to small and fiddly either its still clear which is nice.
I think the back has all the relevant information on it and is clear. Unfortunately the writing isn't actually centred but I only noticed when got the cards back which is kind of annoying but i have 100 of them so if I let it get to me too much then I'll go insane. It doesn't affect their functionality either so it's not a huge deal.
